Roger Waters: From Pink Floyd Icon to Nicolas Maduro Puppet

Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters has emerged as a leading supporter of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.

Waters sees Branson as unwitting pawn of the "Evil Empire": the United States, which, of course, just wants to steal all of Venezuela's oil. (He apparently believes that Russia and China have no interest in Venezuela oil, and is blissfully unaware that the United States has been buying the lion's share of Venezuelan oil for decades already..."buying" on the global market is now "stealing" according to Waters).

Venezuela: The Priority of the Most Powerful Man in the World

Trump has called on the Venezuelan military to abandon its support for Maduro, warning that if they don't, they will not be able to run or hide.

Never has Venezuela occupied such an important space on the agenda of the most powerful man in the world. And it was an undeniable ratification of the commitment of the United States to the Venezuelan cause. "For the first time you see that this is coming to an end. You can see it," Trump said, with certainty. It is based on a simple fact: "Because the United States supports Venezuelans."

Venezuela: Trump Should Do More to Take in Refugees and Asylum Seekers

With Venezuela's collapse creating the greatest humanitarian crisis in modern South American history, Donald Trump could and should do more to take in refugees and asylum seekers, provided that common sense measures and guidelines are in place.

Immigration is Donald Trump's signature issue. With regard to the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, the United States could be doing much more to help the nation's 30 million people. Trump finds himself in an awkward position: on the one hand, he (along with his Brazilian and Colombian counterparts Jair Bolsonaro and Ivan Duque) has been a tireless foe of Nicolas Maduro's increasingly dictatorial government and has stood with the Venezuelan people (90% of whom oppose the Chavista movement). On the other hand, he has to serve up the proverbial "red meat" to his base, a cornerstone of which is his tough-on-immigration stance.

Colombia: Opposition Leader Gustavo Petro Claims Humanitarian Aid is "Poisoned"

Gustavo Petro, leader of the Colombian left, recently raised eyebrows by claiming that US and Colombian humanitarian aid packages are poisoned.

The leader of the Colombian left, Gustavo Petro, recently made some eyebrow-raising remarks in relation to the entry of humanitarian aid by the United States and Colombia into Venezuela. The Colombia Humana party head threw his weight behind arguments put forward by Chavista Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, who said that the food that is intended to be delivered for humanitarian purposes is "carcinogenic." Therefore, they can not be consumed.

Donald Trump: We Still Haven't Discussed Amnesty for Nicolas Maduro

The Trump administration has been receptive to offering amnesty to military officials who defect from the Maduro dictatorship, but claims it still has broached the topic of amnesty for Maduro himself.

Regarding the blockade of humanitarian aid currently being carried out by Maduro, Trump affirmed that the dictatorship will not be able to block all the bridges into Venezuela, and noted that there are other places where it would be possible to enter the aid that the country so desperately needs. In addition, he stressed that he is obligated to bring "food and medicine" into Venezuela, because "people are hungry." In reference to the general crisis at large, he argued that "this is a example of what happens when an incorrect government is in power."

From Despair to Guaidó: How the Opposition Took Power in Venezuela

Despite what some would have you believe, Guaido's assumption of power in Venezuela was not the work of one wizard, operating behind the scenes.

In August 1943 the early stages of the famous Operation Overlord were plotted. It was the capture of the Bastille, or the assault on the Winter Palace, of the Second World War. The great plan that, despite unfavorable conditions, would tip the balance of power in favor of the Allies. In Venezuela, preparations for D-Day began in December 2018.

Buenos Aires Mayor Continues to Persecute Uber, against the Will of the People

The macrista mayor Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, instead of encouraging competition, is bowing to the will of the powerful taxi drivers union, despite the fact that the people of Buenos Aires clearly want Uber.

The taxi union is angry. Their powerful lobby has been able to exert great political influence, but they have lost the latest battle in the justice system. Although the Buenos Aires legislature approved a tough law that imposes very steep fines on the drivers, the justice system has ruled that it is extremely difficult to enforce and apply these draconian fines. The deputies from all the parties (macristas, socialists, kirchnerists) had approved new regulations allowing the police to confiscate the driver's license of the driver, who in addition would have to pay a fine of thousands of Argentine pesos. But when the first legal disputes began, the pathetic and shameful legislative initiative was defeated. It was then that several groups of taxi drivers organized themselves, in the hopes of intimidating Uber drivers and passengers, operating as a virtual "paramilitary" force.

Mysterious Turkish Company Helps Maduro Extract Gold to Fund his Corruption Networks

Turkey has played an increasingly large role in facilitating socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro's longevity in power.

Maduro invited Turkey to invest in the exploitation of a vast mining reserve known as the Arco del Orinoco which holds vast deposits of gold, diamond, and coltan, among other minerals; an action by which he mortgages Venezuela's economic future.

Juan Guaido: Intervention is Justified in Order to Guarantee Humanitarian Aid

Venezuela's interim president Juan Guaido has spoken out against Nicolas Maduro's refusal to allow much-needed foreign aid to enter Venezuela.

Given the possibility that the illegitimate regime of Nicolás Maduro prevents the entry of humanitarian aid, the interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, said that a foreign military intervention would be legal when it comes to securing humanitarian aid.
