EspañolKeiko Fujimori’s supporters in Peru forced women to swear they will vote for the presidential candidate, local media reported.

According to ATV + Noticias, during an event celebrating International Women’s Day on Wednesday, March 9, members of the Popular Force political party ordered the attendees to raise their right hand and swear an oath to vote for Fujimori, the former president’s daughter who is now leading in the polls.

According to local media, the event took place in the city of Tarma in the Junín region. The organizers were supporters of Vladimiro Huaroc, Fujimori’s vice presidential candidate.
