Donald Trump: We Still Haven't Discussed Amnesty for Nicolas Maduro

The Trump administration has been receptive to offering amnesty to military officials who defect from the Maduro dictatorship, but claims it still has broached the topic of amnesty for Maduro himself.

Regarding the blockade of humanitarian aid currently being carried out by Maduro, Trump affirmed that the dictatorship will not be able to block all the bridges into Venezuela, and noted that there are other places where it would be possible to enter the aid that the country so desperately needs. In addition, he stressed that he is obligated to bring "food and medicine" into Venezuela, because "people are hungry." In reference to the general crisis at large, he argued that "this is a example of what happens when an incorrect government is in power."

From Despair to Guaidó: How the Opposition Took Power in Venezuela

Despite what some would have you believe, Guaido's assumption of power in Venezuela was not the work of one wizard, operating behind the scenes.

In August 1943 the early stages of the famous Operation Overlord were plotted. It was the capture of the Bastille, or the assault on the Winter Palace, of the Second World War. The great plan that, despite unfavorable conditions, would tip the balance of power in favor of the Allies. In Venezuela, preparations for D-Day began in December 2018.

Buenos Aires Mayor Continues to Persecute Uber, against the Will of the People

The macrista mayor Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, instead of encouraging competition, is bowing to the will of the powerful taxi drivers union, despite the fact that the people of Buenos Aires clearly want Uber.

The taxi union is angry. Their powerful lobby has been able to exert great political influence, but they have lost the latest battle in the justice system. Although the Buenos Aires legislature approved a tough law that imposes very steep fines on the drivers, the justice system has ruled that it is extremely difficult to enforce and apply these draconian fines. The deputies from all the parties (macristas, socialists, kirchnerists) had approved new regulations allowing the police to confiscate the driver's license of the driver, who in addition would have to pay a fine of thousands of Argentine pesos. But when the first legal disputes began, the pathetic and shameful legislative initiative was defeated. It was then that several groups of taxi drivers organized themselves, in the hopes of intimidating Uber drivers and passengers, operating as a virtual "paramilitary" force.

Mysterious Turkish Company Helps Maduro Extract Gold to Fund his Corruption Networks

Turkey has played an increasingly large role in facilitating socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro's longevity in power.

Maduro invited Turkey to invest in the exploitation of a vast mining reserve known as the Arco del Orinoco which holds vast deposits of gold, diamond, and coltan, among other minerals; an action by which he mortgages Venezuela's economic future.

Juan Guaido: Intervention is Justified in Order to Guarantee Humanitarian Aid

Venezuela's interim president Juan Guaido has spoken out against Nicolas Maduro's refusal to allow much-needed foreign aid to enter Venezuela.

Given the possibility that the illegitimate regime of Nicolás Maduro prevents the entry of humanitarian aid, the interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, said that a foreign military intervention would be legal when it comes to securing humanitarian aid.

Colombia: Ivan Duque Claims that FARC Dissidence is Backed by Venezuela

Colombian president Ivan Duque suggests that Nicolas Maduro and his military command are aiding and abetting the operations of the FARC dissidence in Venezuela.

Colombian President Iván Duque scored a major victory recently when the Colombian military killed Mesías Salgado Aragón, alias "Rodrigo Cadete", a key leader of FARC dissidents who refused to participate in the peace process, and are continuing their armed struggle against the government. As Duque pointed out, this dissident leader of the FARC took refuge in Venezuela and has used the friendly government of Maduro as a base to expand the organization's criminal activities in the southeastern states of Meta, Guaviare, Caquetá, and Putumayo

Guaidó Tells Uruguay and Mexico: We Won't Dialogue with Human Rights Violators

Venezuela's interim president has emphatically rejected Mexico and Uruguay's offers of dialogue; while recent information has come to light showing the extent of the Uruguayan president's son's business dealings with Venezuela.

"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you are on the side of the oppressor," said Guaidó, echoing the words of Nobel Peace laureate Desmond Tutu, who called for the release of Venezuelan political prisoners.

Venezuela: Spain's Failure to Recognize Guaidó Could Cost 41 Billion Euros

Spain is the largest investor in Venezuela, both on an individual and corporate level; Spain is jeopardizing those assets by failing to unequivocally recognize Juan Guaido as interim president.

Not only large companies that have branches in South America will suffer great consequences by not recognizing Guaido, but also the first and second generation Spaniards who live in Venezuela. During Maduro's presidency their asset losses have already been greater than those of the corporations, given the continuous devaluation of the Venezuelan currency, the bolivar.

Mysterious Russian Plane Spirits Away 20 Tons of Venezuelan Gold

Nicolas Maduro is increasingly desperate to please his Russian benefactors, and has taken to widespread illegal mining to repay substantial Russian investment in propping up his dictatorial regime.

The economist and deputy of the National Assembly, José Guerra, warned that the plane was sent with the intent of taking away at least 20 tons of gold from the country. With an estimated value of USD $840 million dollars, the gold in question represents 20 percent of the gold reserves of Venezuela.
